Celebrating Steel Frame Bicycles
The 5th Annual Steel Is Real Milwaukee will roll Sat., Sept 7. We'll celebrate the style, elegance and strength of steel frame bicycles on a 25-mile tour visiting taverns & seeing unique parts of the city.
We'll start at 10am (register beginning 8:30) at Cafe Hollander, a bike friendly restaurant with great food and Belgian beer at 2608 N. Downer Avenue. The Best Steel Bike contest will be judged at 9:30 before the start. THe Tattoo contest (real & fake, men & women) will be judged at a stop along the route.
Each rider will get a long sleeve T-shirt with the vintage poster desing above. Get ready to roll on steel!
